Njiani is an app used by women to record when the experience or witness acts of violence.
The app can also be used to record women’s perceived safety at different public places.
The app helps women to record make these recordings easy and in systemic way.
When many women use the app the Njiani team will be able to learn more about these incidents in the Tanzanian context, which generates information that can be used in advocating for interventions to improve safety for women in public spaces.
